Pattaya is a city on Thailand’s eastern Gulf coast known for its beaches. A quiet fishing village as recently as the 1960s, it’s now lined with resort hotels, high-rise condos, shopping malls, cabaret bars and 24-hour clubs. Nearby, hillside Wat Phra Yai Temple features an 18m-tall golden Buddha. The area also features several designer golf courses, some with views of Pattaya Bay.

关于芭提雅
Pattaya sits on the Gulf of Thailand coast, about two hours by road southeast of Bangkok. That makes it the classic beach weekend for people living in Bangkok, and an easy first or last stop for visitors flying through the capital. The city beach and Walking Street are the busy center; Jomtien, just to the south, is calmer and suits families.
The classic day out is a boat to Koh Larn, the island that English signs and tours call Coral Island. It lies a short boat ride offshore, with clear-water beaches such as Tawaen and Samae. Our Coral Island (Koh Larn) tour is a full day by speedboat; the tour page lists exactly what the price includes. Don't confuse it with Phuket's Coral Island (Koh Hey): same English name, a different sea.
On land, Pattaya has plenty for families. Columbia Pictures Aquaverse and Ramayana are two large water parks south of the city. Nong Nooch Tropical Garden spreads themed gardens over a large site in Sattahip. The Pattaya Floating Market is split into four zones, one for each region of Thailand, with rowing boats moving between the stalls. Art in Paradise fills a building with 3D murals you step into for photos. In the evening, Tiffany's Show has been running its cabaret in Pattaya for more than 50 years.
Most of these are sold here as entry tickets only, so hotel transfers are not included; each page says what is. Prices are in Thai baht, and you can pay by card or PromptPay.
